New Zealand - Wellington

The present flag of New Zealand used to be officially adopted on June 12, 1902. It comprises the British Blue Ensign (higher left), and a representation of the Southern Cross constellation, one who uses only 4 stars.

Cook Islands - Avarua

As a self-governing territorial democracy of New Zealand, the Cook Island's flag options the Union Jack (higher left), recalling New Zealand's long affiliation with Great Britain. The 15 stars signify the 15 major islands of the group.

Fiji - Suva

The present flag of Fiji was once officially adopted on October 10, 1970. The Union Jack (higher left), is representative of the country's lengthy affiliation with Great Britain. The flag's blue field is symbolic of the surrounding Pacific Ocean. The coat of arms show a golden British lion keeping a cocoa pod, in addition to panels showing a palm tree, sugar cane, bananas and dove of peace.

Australia - Canberra

That flag used to be officially adopted on May 22, 1909. It features a blue ensign and three motifs, each signifying essential elements of statehood. The 5 stars of the southern cross seem on the right half of, the commonwealth star and the Union Jack are shown at left.The southern cross is seen in the southern night skies and has been used as a navigational instrument for hundreds of years.The commonwealth star at the beginning represented the six federal states. The seventh point was introduced in 1909 to help signify the addition of the Northern Territory.
